Back in 2005, I was running my own rugby camps business across the UK and as I was researching my competition, I quickly realised how hard it was to find exactly what else was on. I remember imagining how hard it must be for parents too.
Fast forward 18 years and three young children and I found the problem still existed, and this time I decided to do something about it. I approached my long-term tech business associate David Robinson and together we decided to make it our mission to make it easy for parents and children’s activities to connect in one place.
Struggling with a name, I found inspiration when one of my children was colouring a picture all yellow. When I was asked why he explained it was because he was ‘happy all over’. So the name Yellow Days was born, as we aim to make every day a happy day.
